✓ Do Dant — دو دانت — Our Age Standard
What Is "Do Dant" and Why It Matters for Your Qurbani
In Pakistan, the term "Do Dant" (literally: Two Teeth) is used by farmers and buyers to verify that a goat has reached the Shariah-valid minimum age for Qurbani. A goat is considered "Do Dant" when it has at least two permanent incisors that have replaced the baby teeth — this occurs naturally at approximately 12 to 18 months of age, confirming the goat meets the one-year minimum required in Islamic law.
At Qurbani for Unity, every goat assigned to an order is Do Dant certified by our farm team before Eid. We do not purchase last-minute market animals where age cannot be verified. Because our goats are raised on our own farm from months before Eid, we know the exact age of every animal. This is not possible for services that buy from livestock markets days before Eid al-Adha.

What the Recipient Family Receives
A whole goat Qurbani produces far more than just "meat." Every cut is separately packaged and distributed to recipient families in Pakistan. Here is exactly what goes into your Qurbani distribution — no vague promises, no generic descriptions.
🫀
Kaleji
Liver, kidney and lungs — traditionally the first part eaten on Eid day
🦴
Paaye (4 Trotters)
All four trotters — slow-cooked for a traditional Eid breakfast
🍖
Raan (Whole Leg)
One whole leg sent intact — the centrepiece of the family's Eid meal
💪
Dasti (Shoulder)
Rich shoulder cut — perfect for slow-cooked curries
🥩
Champ (Chops)
The most popular grilling cut — Eid barbecue staple
🥩
Puth (Backchop)
Lean backchop cuts — versatile and tender
🍖
Seena and Gardan
Chest and neck — ideal for slow-cooked dishes and nihari
📦
Mixed Artisan Cuts
All remaining portions of the whole goat, separately packaged per cut
Why we specify this when no one else does: Most Qurbani services say "meat will be distributed." We tell you every cut, the packaging standard (temperature controlled), and we photograph the named bag being handed over. This is the transparency diaspora Muslims have been asking for for years.
"Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you."
Surah Al-Hajj, 22:37
📦Temperature controlled packaging from the moment of slaughter through to distribution. Every cut separately packed and labelled.
🏷️The Named Distribution Bag carries your name on the outside. The family opening it sees exactly who sent this Eid meal to them.
🐐Your goat is a Do Dant certified, farm-raised animal — not a last-minute market purchase of unknown age.

Do Dant Goat Qurbani: The Gold Standard of Age Verification in Pakistan
In Pakistani livestock tradition, "Do Dant" (دو دانت) is the established term used by farmers, buyers, and Shariah scholars to confirm a goat's Qurbani eligibility. A goat with two permanent incisors has definitively passed the one-year age threshold required by Islamic law. It is a physical, verifiable check — far more reliable than guessing from a market animal's size or trusting a vendor's word.
At Qurbani for Unity, our farm team inspects every goat before Eid assignment. Because we raise our animals from months before Eid, we know each animal's exact age from the day it arrived on our farm. We do not source animals from livestock markets where Do Dant verification is impossible at scale. This is not possible for any service that purchases from markets close to Eid.
Do Dant means the goat has two visible permanent incisors — the definitive physical sign of Shariah-valid age
This verification method has been used in Pakistani goat farming for generations
A goat without Do Dant that is slaughtered for Qurbani would render the Qurbani invalid under all four madhabs
Our farm-raised approach makes Do Dant verification certain — not a market-day gamble
Standard and Premium tier customers receive an animal photograph before Eid showing their assigned goat
Goat Qurbani vs Cow Share: Choosing for Your Family
The choice between a goat and a cow share comes down to three factors: personal preference, family size, and the level of individual identification you want for your Qurbani. The goat is the traditional one-person animal with the deepest roots in Sunnah. The cow share offers economy for larger families. Here is the direct comparison.
Goat Qurbani for Diaspora Muslims — From USA, UK, Canada and Australia
The goat has been the most personally meaningful Qurbani animal for South Asian diaspora communities for generations. In Pakistan, a whole goat Qurbani was the family aspiration every Eid. Giving a whole goat from abroad — in your name, with your name on the bag handed to a family in Pakistan — is the closest you can get to being there yourself.
Qurbani for Unity serves USA, UK, Canada, and Australia exclusively. Our pricing is in USD, GBP, CAD, and AUD. Our team is in Pakistan on your behalf. And the connection we create between you and the family receiving your meat — through the named bag, the photograph, the certificate — is something that simply does not exist with any other service.
🦷Do Dant certified — every goat age-verified by our farm team before assignment.
🌿Own farm in Pakistan. Not last-minute market animals. Not a middleman.
📦Temperature controlled packaging. Every cut labelled and separately packed.
📜Named certificate per goat. Your name, the animal, the date, QR verified.
🏷️Named bag with your name. Photographed being handed to the recipient family.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Dant (دو دانت) means "Two Teeth" in Urdu and Punjabi. It refers to a goat that has at least two permanent incisors replacing its baby teeth, indicating it is approximately 12 to 18 months old and Shariah-valid for Qurbani. A goat must be a minimum of one year old for Qurbani across all four madhabs. At Qurbani for Unity, all our goats are Do Dant certified before Eid assignment.
A whole goat Qurbani produces: Kaleji (liver, kidney and lungs), Paaye (4 trotters), Raan (one whole leg), Dasti (shoulder), Champ (chops), Puth (backchop), Seena/Gardan (chest and neck), and mixed artisan cuts of the full goat — all separately packaged in temperature-controlled packaging. The named distribution bag carries your name on the outside.
Premium tier orders receive automatic Eid Day 1 priority — slaughter after the Eid prayer on 27 May 2026, the most Sunnah-aligned time. Economy and Standard tiers are allocated Day 1 subject to capacity, or Day 2 (28 May). You can indicate your preferred day during the ordering process. All Qurbanis are completed within the valid three-day window of Eid al-Adha.
It depends on the live weight of your goat. Economy tier (25 to 30kg live weight) yields approximately 10 to 12kg of distributed meat. Standard tier (35 to 40kg) yields approximately 14 to 17kg. Premium Gold tier (45 to 50kg) yields approximately 20 to 22kg — comparable to the Platinum tier specified by leading Pakistani Qurbani services. The higher the tier, the larger the animal and the greater the community impact.
Yes. One goat fulfils the Qurbani obligation for exactly one person. If multiple family members are eligible, you need one goat per person. For a more cost-effective option across multiple people, consider our Cow Share Qurbani where up to seven people can share one cow, each fulfilling their own obligation at a lower per-person cost.
The difference is the live weight of the goat and the documentation included. Economy: 25 to 30kg live weight, 10 to 12kg meat yield, certificate and named bag as add-ons. Standard: 35 to 40kg live weight, 14 to 17kg meat, certificate included, animal photograph before Eid. Premium Gold: 45 to 50kg live weight, 20 to 22kg meat, all documentation included, Eid Day 1 priority processing. All three tiers are Do Dant certified from our own farm.
Yes. The scholarly consensus across all four madhabs confirms that Qurbani performed on your behalf by a qualified Muslim team in another country is fully valid. Your obligation is connected to your niyyah, established when you place your order. Our team says Bismillah individually for your goat. The animal is Do Dant certified, farm-raised, and slaughtered within the valid Qurbani window. All five validity conditions are met.

I received the photo of the bag with my father's name on it being handed to the family. I cried. This is what Qurbani should feel like from abroad. Truly grateful to have found this service.

Knowing the weight tier I was booking — Standard 35 to 40kg, 14 to 17kg of meat — gave me a tangible sense of the impact my Qurbani was making. The certificate arrived the morning after Eid. Never going back to anonymous charity donations.

Added the video proof. Watching the Bismillah said clearly for my Premium Gold goat — 48kg animal, I could see the size of it — gave me a peace of mind I have not felt about Qurbani in years. The Do Dant explanation on the page was something no other service explains. Excellent.
